Accessible Accommodations

The park itself is fairly level although as it is in woodland some of the paths can be a little uneven due to tree roots. There are parking bays dotted around the site but they are not dedicated for specific units. Some of the 2 bed chalets and detached bungalows are accessed via footpaths only.

We have one assisted chalet at St Ives and one fully adapted caravan lodge. The assisted chalet is accessed via a ramp and has dedicated parking, access is via a concrete path. The doorway into this chalet is 750mm (minimum requirements for a wheelchair are 800mm), internally the double bedroom and bathroom doorways are 800mm wide but the twin bedroom is not. The kitchen is not adapted in any way. The bathroom is a wet room with grab rails.

The caravan lodge is fully for wheelchair users with ramped access and dedicated parking. It has widened doorways throughout with sliding doors and wide access galley kitchen with low level cooker and sink. It has a full wet room with fold out seat and support handles. The main bedroom features two 3’ divan beds and a portable helper frame. The twin room also has two 3’ divan beds.

Two of the caravan lodges have ramp access (69 & 70) however they have standard width doorways and are not adapted inside in any way at all. Should you require these please put a note on your booking or call us to discuss.
